Don't panic because in ten years time its value will have bounced back and be worth much more than today. |

If I could predict the housing market I would be a very rich woman! No-one knows. I am guessing a drop of about 20% which would bring it down to about £200,000. But there are so many variables, eg where you live and whether you paid over the odds for it in the first place. |

If someone asked this question 2 years ago it would have been a very high answer,
the way the market is going at the min, i reckon it will be lower.
Me and my boyfriend just bought a 3 bed house for £83,000! |

I Buy And Sell Houses
|
In the U.S., some houses that sold 2 years ago for $525,000 are now worth/selling for $300,000. Some condos that sold 2 years ago for $275,000 are now selling for $110,000. Prices are continuing to fall by 25%-40% a year. That $525,000 house probably will end up around $250,000. That $275,000 condo probably will end up around $75,000.
(For those wondering where those properties are, they're in Falls Church and Annandale, Virginia, for the houses, and Reston, Virginia, for the condos. I didn't even mention the sharp price drops, such as Manassas, where a $325,000 townhouse is now selling for $75,000.) |

My guess would be around £150,000-£175,000 |

In the UK prices peaked in August 2007. They are now crashing.
Last time this happened it took 6 years from 1989-1995 to find a bottom in the market. I know, I bought and sold at that time.
This will be a deeper fall as there is no obvious bottom to the market. Buy to Letter`s are no longer in the game so it will fall to where FTB`s buyer again.
We are looking at least 40% reduction from last year. Sorry ! |

depending on how the market is doing tbh!
prices could still go down or they could go up
im glad there down because me and my family bought a 5 bedroomed house for 90,000!
we ended up selling ours for 160,000 and it was only 3 bedroom. |

No-one can know for certain.
To a large extent, it will depend on what part of the country you are in. In London it will probably be worth only very little less than the £250,000. In other parts of the country, the price drop will probably be far more significant. |

Hi,I believe & always have that anything is only worth what people are prepared to pay.In 92 we got on the property ladder we had a set price & stuck to it so we got this place for nearly 10 thousand below the asking price.Turned out that was the real value. |

roughly £26.50 if you are lucky |
