Normally, the law says there must be at least one bathroom.
But, for a three bedroom townhouse, sometimes there are 1 and 1/2 bathroom (one bathroom is just a wash basin and toilet no shower or bath tub, or sometime just a shower, with no bath tub.
You can pay extra in some rentals for two full bathrooms.
But, it depends on the floor plan and how old the townhouse is, on whether there will be one, one and one-half, or two full bathrooms.

There are however many bathrooms the builder put in it.

a really nice one would have 2 and a half baths.
3 would be nice too but it would also depend on the number of people living in the home.
