Supposedly three months after delinquent, then they can start the process, then it may take the fourth to six months to actually have the possession action taking place.
Diferent state and town may have diferent work load cycle that may be take longer.
It is always option and way to get out from foreclosure, don't sit and wait for last monte. Ask more for finding solution it ay help. |

It depends on your Mortgage lender. Generally though you have to be 3 months in arrears before they start repossession proceedings. If you are in financial difficulties, contact your lender as soon as possible to discuss possible ways to pay off arrears. |

13 months is MAX ... you will get grief, but if you are prpared to fobb them offf, then 13 missed payments is the Max ... at the end of the day, it isn't in their interest to pull the mat from under your feet.
Your credit rating will suffer meantime, but that can be sorted in time. THIRTEEN is your lucky number ... use it! |
