I don't know...what's the average? I room-mated for a short time, got married and lived in an apartment, moved into a house, my spouse and I stayed with my family in San Diego for a short while to get on our feet, then we moved into apartments, and have changed apartments since our move.
So I guess at least 6 times and I am 29. I first moved out when I was 19. |

I've never moved my home yet...but thinking about doing it in a couple of years. We are going to pour a new foundation then move our house to a new location on our property. I'm sure this isn't wha tyou're talking about, but that's the plan! |

moved out of my moms when I was 17 (but moved to my grandparents), then at 20 moved back to my moms, then moved out again almost a year ago with roommates. So technically, twice. |

What is the national average. I have moved 9 times already since turning 18. I am 23. It is pathetic and I can't stand moving. If I have to move again I am gonna shoot myself!!! I wish I could buy a home. |

What's the national average?
As for me I have moved my residence about 20 times in 14 years, but a lot of those were when in the military and I was 'moving' every 6 months or so, plus after military and school I have moved for work 3 times in the last year and a half... I have gotten very good at boxing things up. |

Holy crap-I don't think I could remember all the times-seriously. I've lived all over the USA. Guessing maybe 20 times. |

I moved at least 10 or 12 times when I lived in Vancouver, over the course of 7 years. Probably moved more than that, even.
I moved back in with my parents for awhile.
I bought a house and moved into it when I left their place for the second time.. so no more moves for me for awhile! :) |

Since I was ruthlessly kicked out? 6. Add that to the16 or so times I moved during my childhood and I think I surpass any kind of average. I have lived in my current abode for 7 years - it's the longest I've lived anywhere! |
