There are 52 weeks in the year . However you should be careful on what basis you are being charged i.e most landlords will charge per calendar month say £200 per month which = £2400 per year This equates to £46.15 per week
A few will charge you on a four weekly basis e.g £50 per week = £200 per 4 weeks and overall per year £2,600
Hope this helps
PS most will usually want at least one month up front and sometimes a bond in case of damage

monthly rent say £600 x 12months divided by 52.2 weeks in a year(there is always an odd day) = weekly rent
billtheangler
its 52 but if you are working out things from an annual basis to a weekly basis then you divide the annual figure by 52.2
