Here's a list of new condos for sale in San Francisco - http://sf.condodomain.com/recent-condos.php?m=23

Great city. I lived there off and on from the early '60s to the early '80s. Too bad it will never again be like it was.

I live in Hollywood. There are 2 condo buildings on my block. One of them has condos from $750K and the other has condos from the high $500's. I understand there are some in outlying areas of L.A. for as little as $250K.
Hope this helps.

It depends where you live. I suggest looking at apartmentfinder.com or one of those sites...it'll give you a pretty good idea.

I live in a 2 bedroom in SoCal and I pay $900...which is a pretty good price around these parts.

Depends on where in California. A few more details would help. Home prices have dipped substantially, so now is a good time to start thinking of buying if you can.

In SF or in Modesto?

In SF bay area, 1bd would cost you 350K.

In LA, San Diego, maybe 250-300K. Out in the boonies, it's no more than anywhere else, but who wants to live there?

It's slowly going down, though. Maybe in a year, it's only 300K in SF.

wayy too expensive... where i live the median is condo is in the mid 300 yeah it's expensive but where i live the beach is so close and weather is nice everyday

In my neighborhood they go for $600,000+. I live in an extremely safe neighborhood where you don't even need to lock your front door when you leave home.

Last time I looked, California was a pretty big place.

Depends which part. I would say $300,000 and up. Mine was $595,000 but it is in Malibu.
