Like the others said, the price ranges. Usually your real estate agent has a company they recommend. Just be sure to include the inspection fee in closing costs to the seller. That way, you don't have to pay for the inspection! |

It really depends on where you live. The prices can range anywhere from Free if you know someone....to $1000.00 and up depending on the time it takes to go over the house, size of the home etc. I really do recommend hiring a repretable company, because they stand by their work. It is worth the money in the long run. Today companies come with a laptop and print out your report right away, otherwise it can take up to a week to get a report back. Good luck! |

Advice pick your own home inspector out of the directory.I wouldnt take a reference from a selling agent. Especially if they work for the seller.If its a buyer agent working for you they should give you three or four to choose from. |
