to appraise your house for free contact any insurance agency with free quotes, just don't buy their insurance. if their quote is 10,000 double that amount. 20,,000= 40,000 get the picture. |

I don't know how they determine the amount they charge. I had my Mother's doublewide and land appraised. For something appraised at $30,000 he charge $200. This was my first dealing with appraisers. |

anywhere from $300 to $600 depending on the detail of the appraisal and the amount of work that needs to be done. If you have a piece of property that has no similar sales history in the area, then the ease of doing the appraisal goes by the wayside and the appraiser will have to charge more for the service. |
