Contact the Utilties company and ask them what the average bill for that address was. You also want to ask your landlord how many people lived there before that way your bills might not be as high

Do the math and figure it out. Only you know how much money you can live on!

jashabutta
lets see, 570+500+80=1150
2000-1150=850
I'm guessing the 500hundred car payment includes insurance,if not take that into consideration. food, maintenance and other miscellaneous items.
i think you can do it..

devotedtothem
Yes, but with almost nothing for clothes, entertainment, booze, shampoo(use soap), or any such "frivolities".....Sux, but it' s reality..........You' ll barely have enough for food!@!!!!!!!!!

It all depends on what utilities you are paying. Are you paying water, trash, light and gas? If you are you should be able to afford to live on your own as long as your not into spending more money than you have. If you have credit cards then you need to add everything together plus insurance and gas then see what your total is.

Utilities all depend on how much you use, but they usually have a service fee of about $10-$15 per utility even if you dont use anything. For one person in an apartment, figure an average of $50/month for utilities if you dont use the heat or AC too much. That doesn't include phone line or cable.
Also don't forget car insurance, gasoline, might want renter's insurance, health insurance, and food.
To answer your question, yes you could do it. I've lived on much less than $2k a month before and still paid all the bills. Consider getting a roommate if you don't think you can afford it.

Depending on the area and what utilities you have it sounds like you'll be able to scrape by. Usually electricity is the most expensive bill which during the summer (if you use AC) tends to be expensive (about $100 a month depending on how often you leave lights on and such). But granted you'll be paying about 1150.00 without your utilities included that means you have $850 to spare for utilities, gas, and groceries/whatever else you buy. I think that should be alright, but if I were you I'd also set up a bank account and put whatever you don't spend into savings just in case you're low one month. Good luck!

Where do you live? I think you're going to be just fine. Utilities will run you about $50-$100. Plus food and shampoo and all of that stuff...you won't be able to buy $1000 shoes, but you'll be able to afford it.

killacam
ull be able to afford it but you wont have much savings at the end or even as much spending money during the month.
575(rent)+100(max utilities)+80(cell bill)+500(car payment)
that leaves you with 2000(salary)-1255=$745/month
