How to kick renters out in Texas when there's no lease in place?
Renters have been living in the house for several years, but we're selling our home and wanting to move back into our rent house (as our primary residence). There hasn't been a lease in place for a couple years, and I'd like to obviously give them time to find a new place. What's the proper procedure to ask them to move while remaining compliant with the law?

You just need to give them a 30 day written notice, no biggie.

well you would treat it like there was a lease in place that has ended, give them in writing 30-45 amount of days to leave if they don't go to the court house and go through the evection process. Good luck.
