How will i get the first time home buyer tax credit in california?
The 1st time home buyer tax credit was extended in california for 2010, my question is how do I get it? I am closing on a home next week. I know it's 1st come 1st served. Do I need to file something now? Also I file joint with my husband (who doesn't work) and I put the deed as my sole and seperate property, will I be able to file the same way and get the full credit or do I have to file separate and get half the credit?
