No, William can not. The best way to work with your current bank or mortgage broker is to get a Good Faith estimate from one or two other lenders and show them you can get a better deal. Once you do this if they will not give you the better deal move on! Many loan officers will be able to use the appraisal they already did and if you paid for it, you own it! So, do not worry about any little cost when you can save wayyyyyyyyyy more! Be aware the new LO you are taking to maybe "low-balling" to get your business. When I purchased in a state which our company does not lend in, I had to use someone I did not know, therefore, I put applications in with 5 companies and found the best one after letting them know I had my own little "Lending Tree.com" going on! |
