As long as he told you by December 6th you have no options. The house does not belong to you and he has every right to sell it.
The appraisers usually do not enter, but they can before you move out. Your stuff will not effect the house price, although he might want to update things first.
If you are in CA you are entitled to a 60 day notice since you have been in the same residence for 3 years, but I think that is the only state that gives long term tenants the extra time. |

It depends on what state you are in, but most states require that both you and your landlord have to give at least 30 days written notice. |

You have the right to a 30 day notice to vacate the premises. |

well, legally (times varied by state), you CAN NOT evict some one on such short notice. So, you can tell him that you're not leaving by then, and that you need more time, and if he has a problem with that, YOU'LL call the cops, because such an eviction is not legal. However, this may cause an issue between the 2 of you, as he'll likely get p.o'd. So, I suggest simply talking to him and saying that you will go, but you need time to find a place. If he MUST show home, then say you'll keep it clean, and valuables locked, and he can bring people in as you're in process of moving out. |

What does your lease say? |

1. If you have a lease, you need to get it out and read it.
2. If you don't have a lease you are considered month to month. He has to give you 30 days written notice.
Call your social worker and tell them what is happening, they should be able to help you.
Start looking for a new place today! But if your landlord does anything stupid you will be able to sue his butt!
Good luck |

Depends on the state...and your lease. If your renting month to month he should have given you a 30 day notice. You need to read your lease. There are companies that will help you with your renters rights if the landlord is doing something wrong. |

The 1st thing you do is go to the Housing Authority in your city and show them the notice.
They should help you on this.
If you are on SSI your caseworker should help out. |

Just go down to your local section 8 office and talk to them about your options. If you already have your voucher you shouldn't have a problem finding another place.
The land lord owns the property, and has the right to sell it. |

your lease is probly up. he has every right to sell, but he does have to give notice. You could ask to live there untill they sell. you would have to deal with the comotion. |

he has to give you a 30 day notice depending on your lease. if you are on mo to mo. then it may be different. but without a 30 day he is breaking the contract. i had a landlord do that to me and she paid me to move. i found a house told her what the 1st and dep was and she paid it because she wanted me out asap she was also selling. so if its that serious to him he will help you. what state are you in? |

You will need to move. If you do not do it in time. He may complain about you and you will have issues finding another place. Just get prepared for it mentally and maybe you can ask him to pay for the mover .. he may agree to that |
