I STRONGLY suggest that you open up your local newspaper and call all the ads that talk about stop foreclosure. tell the person who wrote the ad that you want to sell your house as is.you are interested in a short sale and not a listing.provide the buyer with a hardship letter and a authorization to release information form.good luck with finding a new job. |

first: talk to your bank, they are in the business of money, not selling homes, tell them your situation, they may give you a break on the amount you need to bring the house up to date, (not necessarily the amount you owe) then tell them your plans of selling the house to pay them back, that will buy you some time.
I am serious, this is happening to someone I know here in California, and their bank is willing to work with them.
remember BANKS, LIKE MARRIAGE WANT AND NEED COMMUNICATION, NOT ALIENATION. |

If you are already 4 months behind on your mortgage, it may already be too late to sell your home for the bank may already be preparing to take it to auction at the courthouse.
However, if you know someone who is ready to purchase your home talk with your bank to see how low they are willing to release the home. Explain that you are truly in hardship and they may delay selling your home at the courthouse. If your buyer is willing to pay the balance of your mortgage plus any late fees you have accrued and whatever extra you'd like to make on it, then you've got your magic 'figure.'
But, the clock is ticking and you've got to come to an agreement fast.
In California, if an agent is involved, the buyer must intend to occupy the home.
Good luck! |

Try HomeVestors, they buy "ugly houses". That's their motto and they like fast closings. |

really couldnt say without any details..but more than likely, if market values havent changed in the time you've been there, and as long as everything is still in good condition, then i believe it'd be safe to say you could get at least what you paid. however, if youre just needing a "quick sell", you could call someone in your area who is in the business of just buying houses. ...but be aware, that in selling fast....you probably will get less than market value. |

Depends on the market in your area. The length of time you have lived in the house doesn't change the price. Talk with a Realtor, and look at the price of comparable houses in your immediate neighborhood. |

Do a Google on short sales specialists. They'll to get your bank to agree to a short sale so you will not have a foreclosure on your credit score. However, you wil need to find a buyer for the property. |

Companies advertise for people in your current situation. They prey on people like you though....they give you minimal money for your house so that you don't ruin your credit but in the end you don't make a profit. Research it on the internet...search "foreclosures" for your city etc.
Good luck. |

$5.87million dollars. You probably don't have enough equity in the home to cover Realtor costs. Unless you had some dramatic event occur in your area. |

Who knows. Could you provide a few details like is it a piece of crap. or beautiful mansion. Probably get what you paid for it. and if you make alot there is a thing called capital gains which taxes the heck out of you if you make a lot of profit. |

nothing, unless you find some one with good credit and is willing to buy it from you knowing your problems. talk to a Realtor their very dirty people tell them the truth and as long as the person is willing to sign his name the Realtor will process the paper work as a short sell. maybe if the person was needing you as much as you need them you might get 5,000 and get to walk away with out haveing to go into forecloser. |
