Unfortunately, not a heck of a lot. You were probably on a three month probation and they didn't feel you were suitable for the job. Sorry, but they can terminate you for any reason unless you are on contract with them.

terminated implies you were fired. in that case your screwed.

chatsplas
Most states permit employers to terminate employees with or without notice. Union employees have some protections others don't. Three months isn't very long term of employment, and may be the end of your trial period, and you didn't meet their requirements.
You can apply for Unemployment Compensation.
You can prepare a resume and plunge into active job search.
During Holidays, network, letting people know that you are looking for new job. Don't Badmouth your employer, boss, job.

you mean you were not given weeks or months notice. THE only
people who get advanced notice of layoffs are union employees.

its in their contract. Otherwise, if you have no contract,
employment in the US is at the employer's discretion.

Were you terminated with cause? In my state they don't even have to have a reason to terminate you but they normally do just to CYA.

wizard of the East
u have worked for 3 months, u r not confirmed in their register.
The present financial crisis is responsible for this action, as they have no workload and suddenly have excess staff.
Find another job if possible, though the present crisis makes it difficult.

:(i hate you!
talk to sumone other than people in here
:) would be a good start

Actually it depends on the labor law in your country and your company's regulations. Check how long is your probation period supposed to be in the company's regulation whether 3 or 6 months if it is 3 then most probably you can threaten that u r going to file a law suit saying that they violated the law by not giving you your right in a notice. but anyways if they gave u your money, take it and leave and don't stay in a place that doesn't welcome you.

osaro_adu
sued them to court because they are supposed to give you a good reason which they fire you so take them to court too
