Pick up a change of address form from the Post Office (or complete online form), and they will forward your mail for a year.

Word of advice, do that at least a week or two before you move. Do it a month prior if you have secured the new place. That way you will be assured of receiving your mail.

You have to file a change of address notice with the post office servicing your OLD address.

A. T. Wood
Find the nearest Post Office and ask for a change of address. When you fill that out, they will re-direct mail sent to your old address. Takes longer sometimes to kick in if you moved far.

Pam H
Yes, go to the post office and fill out a change of address form. They will forward all your mail to the address you put on there. The fowarding order is good for one year.

Yes. The post office has a packet that will help you forward your mail to your new apartment. It will help automatically forward your mail that is sent to your old address for 6 months to a year depending on the type of mail.
