That's absolutely ridiculous. The landlord is surely obliged to give you it. He HAS to let you know where it is at least, then you can ask the neighbours their address. Google tenants rights. |

Go to the city offices and have them look it up. They've got all the old plattes. You might have to get an official address assigned and recorded. I think it's cool, you can look at the history of the property while you're at it. |

Kind of had the same issue with my place when I first moved in, Previous tenant just picked a number close to what it should have been, when other folks moved in there was confusion. Phone Co. & Power Co. were no help. Post Office told me I had to fix it but wouldn't tell me who to go to . Finally went to the Tax Assessor in the town and he apparently had assigned the numbers when they had set up the 911 system in the County . Since there were 2 residences on the same property he gave 2 numbers but didn't specify which was which, so I bought numbers and put them on each unit (I did it between tenants in the other unit) |

Is it a property? If so it may have a lot number or property name? Is it a duplex? It may have a letter after the number? Is it a granny flat? If it's a granny flat it may have no address of its own.
You have two options. Get one of your neighbours who does have an address to collect your mail for you, or rent a PO box. |
