Rocket P
I just bought a house...?
Well last week I bought new home for my family, we all really loved the house. I spent today getting to know the new neighbors, and it came to my attention that the previous owners of the house I purchases were a gay couple. I don't think I can bring myself to living in a house in which two gay people used to live. The thought of it does not sit well with me. Is there anyway I can make them buy back the house so I can find a different one? Thanks.

There is no way for you make them buy back the house. All you can sell the house to someone else. I think It is not big deal since you all love your new home.

Just say no!

lol--WOW. I guess if you had such strong feelings you should have inquiried PRIOR to purchasing the house. Have the house blessed or something and get over it or sell it and uproot your family again.

this guy's a toll.

no, there isn't any way to give it back.

man, that sucks, knowing that EVERYWHERE you go, there could be gay germs. Man, how do you use the bathroom every day knowing this.

Instead of the gay bashing how about a little acceptance of those different from you? Besides, they left the place spotless, I'm sure. I'll tell you some real life stories about houses. Absolutely true, from my family.

1. MD, medical doctor, respected in profession left house so filthy and contaminated that we had to call professional cleaners for 1 whole day. Entirely prevented actual move in on moving day it was so bad. Complained and threatened lawsuit; he finally gave in and contributed to portion of cleaning. He also left a broken dishwasher. But hey! Guess what? No gay sex happened there!

2. Gay neighbours. Their house is always immaculate. Landscaping, snow removal, etc. I've been inside (hey! I'm still straight too!) and the furniture and layout was warm and inviting - not weird as you may think. Looked like a designer showroom. Their house is much admired on the street and it "forces" neighbours to keep up a bit. Helps with property values.

3. Another neighbour (my sister's) has been on welfare for 2 generations now (more than 30 years on the dole). Father and mother - now very old and now their adult children and their kids. About 7 living in house. House is decrepit, debris and garbage strewn about, house values decreasing, everybody hates them on the street. They frequently make loud noise , get drunk and abusive - but hey! they're straight and there's no gay sex going on there! Would you like to have these ruffians and boors as neighbours?

4. I suggest you look to the positive aspects of buying a house where there was love - not hate and cleanliness and not filth. Karma goes a long way.

Consider yourself lucky!

I don't think you can do that. You would have to resell it.

It sux that you can't get over this. It is fine if you don't approve of what the gays are doing but you are just hurting yourself and your family irrationally by thinking about it instead of forgetting about it.

wow that sux..i rather live in a house where a person was murdered than in a house where gay guys had sex in....just go and tell them straing out..."I want my money back!..this house is F&^%$N GAAY!!!" lol

☼AstrologerJuliAnne☼
LOL This cannot be a real question. Are you afraid they left their *gay cooties* behind? Afraid you might start having a penchant for some same sex love?

You sound like someone from the 50's who wouldn't sit near a black person, or someone in the 80's who wouldn't hug someone with AIDS because you might get it.

In short, NO, you cannot MAKE someone buy back their house because of their sexual preference and how it *sits* with your narrow mindedness.

Usually those who are the most afraid of gayness are ones who have some curiosity...

cherinfo
wow what an a$$ you are.
