What battery? If you are talking about a smoke detector, I wouldn't trust anyone else to do it. I would do it myself just to make sure it's working properly.

Batteries to what?
kathmrc
In an apt it's the landlord's responsibility for maintenance. If you are talking about a smoke alarm you can replace the battery for pretty cheap I had my maintenance man replace the battery in mine for me I had bought the battery.
sassssy

Your landlord.
Joshua
I assume you're talking about smoke detectors?
If you are, get a new battery in there quickly, then ask your landlord about their policy.
l_schoger
Your landlord should if it is a battery that leads to your existance there. A battery for some object that you bring into the residence not described by the lease is your responsibility...........

I don't know so ask your landlord.

The battery of WHAT?
