Why do you feel so special that YOU should be allowed to have a dog when others have signed leases that state no dogs?
Eviction and don't expect the security deposit back if there has ever been even a minor tinkle accident. |

They will evict and fine the hell out of you. They can no longer rent that apartment to people avoiding dogs for allergies w.o ripping out the carpeting and replacing it. |

Yes they can evict you!!! They only have to give you a 30 day notice though! I would just get rid of the dog or find somewhere else to live! They wont even let you pay a pet deposit? That really bites! I would be carefull if you decide to keep it! I wouldnt use the other tenents against it if YOU get caught! Thats like saying well they Jumped off the Bridge so I DID TOO!!!! LOL.........Good Luck either way! |

I once had a kitten named "Secret" in an apartment that didn't allow pets, I soon had to change her name to "Evicted". |

you will get kicked out unless you kick the dog out. Why do you live there in the first place if they don't allow dogs? |

Your neighbors can complain. If maintenance comes in while you're not there, they will see the dog.
Yes, they can evict you. It's a violation of your lease |

They can evict you, but the prior poster is incorrect. It depends on the state as to how long they need to give you notice for. Some states it can be longer and some much less. |

yes, she will follow up on it and she also has the right to enter inot your apartment any time there is a reason for to suspect that you are breaking the contract guidelines that you signed, if it states that there are no dogs allowed the nI suggest that you get rid of it asap, and no you don't have to be home when she enters the apartment and yes she has a key to all the apartment doors. |

Actually they can come in and remove your dog. I had one bite me once on a repair call. They moved that weekend.
Problem with dogs, is that they are great to whom they know, but dangerous to others. The property owner has to carry insurance and my company told me nothing over 35#, and I am grateful that they gave me that in writing. |

They will probably charge you for having him there if they find out he has been there for a while. Your best bet is to talk to the landlord before they get pissed and charge you a ton or even evict you. Or have someone else keep the dog for the next two months. |

Warning
Maybe Second Warning
Maybe Fine
Evict about 1 month or less if they get more suspicious
IF you really can't take care of your dog try to find someone close to you to care for him so that way you can find somewhere to actually take care of him |

they usually dont do anythig at first but after ur second warning they give you a ticket |

They can evict you but it takes more than a month to do so. They have to go to the city file a complaint get an eviction ordered and then they still have to give you about a month to move out. Also being as they have a key to every apartment they can come into your home any time as long as they have just cause to do so. If I were you I would find a new place to live that allows dogs so you don't have to worry about the reprecussions. |
