Aside from that yes you can stop her with a simple injunction that your attorney files to stop sale. then you will be able to sit down and force a contract on her before she is aloud to do anything. thats assuming you have no contract. the attorney will cloud the title and stop her from selling property until you get paid as well.
Don't mess around get that attorney right away! |

Other than a quick deed, I've never heard of a court allowing someone to act as the owner without actually having their name added to the title of the property, so I can't honestly give you an answer, sorry. Hope you get it figure out, friends are one of the worst kind of people to enter into business transactions with, other than family. |

Was it a written agreement or verbal. Also your name is still on the title so yes you can do something avbout it . Give her a written statement with amount owed and tell her she has x amount of days other wise you will reposses the land. Also you can tell her that you will take her to court if it is not paid in full by so many days. She will get the hint and next time make sure that it is bad doing business with friends. |

If she withdraws her agreement to you, then withdraw your agreement to her. Use a lawyer to do this...p.s. If she's out to cheat you, then she isn't really being a friend, so treat it now like a business deal. And learn from this. |

You need to file charges against her for reneging on the deal. She cannot produce the receipts showing that she paid you.It would also help, if you had wittiness's to the transaction. See an Attorney. Good luck |
