You have no rights except to stay there and continue to pay your rent until you leave or until the bank tells you to!

I would start looking for somewhere else to live - if your landlord loses his house you will be asked to leave eventually so it's better to do it on your own terms.

You have no rights as to the mortgage the landlord is obligated on that loan. If you read your lease it says a foreclosure supercedes any agreement you have. So you need to find out if your landlord is in foreclosure and how soon it is to an auction. If it's within 2 months I would start looking for another place to live. Sorry that it doesn't seem right but they signed for the loan.

you need to talk to citizens advice. when i rented from someone with a mortgage I had to sign something to say I would move out if the bank took back the property, but if you havent then you might have sitting tennent rights.

be prepared to look for a new place, your "landlord"
is responsible, you are renting you don't have any
rights, it is his problem, someone could buy him out
and raise the rent or decide not to rent. Just be prepared
to move on a dime !!!!

If you are paying rent and you have proof you can stay there and take your landlord to court.

If your landlord has not paid his mortgage the loan company will snatch the property back and it becomes theirs. You wont particularly have any rights at all, so start looking for other arrangements so you are not left stranded. Good luck.
