S.C.or GA.is a good investment.The land is good land and there is a lot of it for sale.If you buy a good many acres at once and cut it up into lots you can make a lot of money.My wife's dad made a great living doing just that.

That depends on what type of land you want. if you don't care, then I think that you can still get some good desert in Arizona, Utah and Nevada for a few hundred a acre or less depending on how far out it it is and how much you want to buy. Another thing if you want to buy property cheap it to go to real estate auctions. yes you do have to have usually 20% up front and the rest with-in 30 days but you can usually get a really good deal. Go to them during the week when less people attend them. Also if you can catch one when the weather is cold and raining then you have an even better chance because less people want to get out in that type of weather.
