but was just told by the landlord's agent that section 8 has not made any payment of my rent in the last 3 months. My adviser told me that as long as I lived in the apt. they were making payments. How do I appeal the termination if It has happened and, will section 8 just stop making payments or will they tell you that you are terminated first?

Flower, I HAVE spoken with my adviser PERSONALLY on at least 3 occasions in the last month by going to the office & by phone. She told me that they have been making payments as long as I am in the unit. I have received no termination letter, but when requesting a new voucher, she said that she could not give me 1 until the case had been decided ( LL is trying to evict me). LL says that Sec.8 has not made a payment since April 1st. No eviction case was filed until the middle of May. I am moving out of the apt. But do not know my standing with Sect.8 as I have had no notice from them about termination of eligibility OR termination of payment to LL. I will be going to the HA on Tuesday- AGAIN for another 2 hr wait. But I don't understand why I was not notified of non payment by sec.8 (by LL until she told this to a complete stranger) & why S8 would not have notified me 2 months ago.
