Go to almost any Canadian bank site like www.cibc.ca and they will have a page in their mortgage section where you plug in a few numbers on how much of a motgage.

well they will probably qualify you for about $100,000 and depending on the interest you are looking at around $800-$900 a month payments with homeowners insurance and taxes depending on your location

amihavasu6
about a 200,000 loan. about 1200 a month

That' s a hard question because there is so many other questions that need to be answered.

What is your current debt to income ratio? In other words how much debt do you have right now, with the $30,000 that you make.

Do you pay your bills on time?

What is your credit score?

These are the questions that will affect your "approval".

You need to go into a bank and talk with someone, there are just too many variables. If you don't have a lot of debt, it might be promising.

At my bank here in the states you cannot exceed 36% debt to income ratio. in other words

car payment: 200
car insurance:50
gas bill: 80
water :40
electricity:100
sewage 10

total owed 480

income is 1440

debt ratio is 33%
