Based on a 40 hour work week, that would be about $14.42 an hour. $30,000 divided by 52 weeks, will give you weekly wage, then that divided by 40,(hours), will give you answer.

But just remember taxes.. assuming the average 30% tax, you will only bring home about $11 an hour assuming a 35 hours work week.

The typical work year consists of 2,000 hours. At least that's the base we always used when I worked for many years in Human Resources. Using that as a basis, you are indeed earning $15 per hour. (For your true "cost" to the company, figure in their overhead as well - rent, furniture, equipment, insurance, supplies, etc.)

hmm.. well the average person does a 37.5 hour week (not including lunch etc). So 30000 divided by 52 then divided again by 37.5 gives 15.38/per hour.

Tho thats a simple equation. It doesnt factor in ur true hours, tax, tax code, holidays, etc etc where are u from? in the UK u would expect to be taxed around 22% over around 5030 on that wage.

For that u would need to supply the extra info. i wouldnt bother tho thats a good start.
