optoman | If the rent is 20 dollars per square feet. How much is the rent montly? |
|
|

Commercial space is normally quoted as $ per square foot. It is customary to quote the annual cost so the monthly would be $20 times # of square feet divided by 12.
There are other aspects that you should be looking at. Depending on the building, you may be charged on either a rentable square foot basis or usable square foot basis; also, you need to know if the $20 is a net or gross number, ie, does it include taxes, garbage, common area maintenance, etc. Speaking to the norm, those charges are usually in addition to the quoted rent. Depending on the type of building and the area you are in, the additional amounts could be $3 - $4 more a foot bringing the total to $23 - $24.
Good luck! |

Usually they tell you whether the rent is expressed as a monthly charge or annual. That's probably a monthly so the monthly rent is $20 * the square footage of what you are renting. |

What is the size of the space you're looking at renting?
Outrageously high. Look some where else.
A10 X10 room would run you $2000 a month.
A 1500 sqft house would cost you $30,000 a month. |
