I certainly can't tell you if you feel embarrassed or not, do you? In the state I moved away from (Ohio) many people are laid off, and the job market is very bad. I wouldn't down on anyone that is at least trying to make it. As long as you are making a true effort to better your situation then who cares what other people think? A lot of people are going to give mean responses to this, not knowing your entire situation. Do what you have to do. Not everyone has the luxury of having two incomes that barely support a household, let alone if they have kids. With all the foreclosures going on, it should give you a little insight on most people's financial situations, as well as their ability to make financial decisions!!! Live your own life, make your own choices, and don't let other people judge you. (They're going to anyway, but what they think doesn't matter.)

Hi there! You must get on with your Mum to be living at home. I have 4 sons, 21, 20 and 17yr twins, none of them plan to move out which is cool by their Dad and I because we all really enjoy each others company. Our sons pay board, as we did when we were young and still living with our folks, difference is, I didn't get on with my mum, so I moved out quicker. If you have a good relationship with your Mum, respect each others space and time out, are compatible and live well together then what is the problem? Sounds to me you benefit/compliment each other and if it works, why change it? Unless that is what YOU want? You really need to ask yourself are you embarrased of your situation and why? What has brought this about? Is it something someone else has said, or done? They are likely jealous because you have it sweet at home, move out on your own and sure their is independance, MINUS money! If its about independance that you seek, you will never know unless you go for it. If you take into consideration what others think, then you have to ask yourself how much of your life you life for YOU, and how much you live for others. If your happy, why change it? Only you can find those answers - regardless of what others think. |
