Part Time Cynic
Rural West Flandres in Belgium.
485 Euros a calender month for a 200-year old farmhouse that belongs to a Baron. 2 bedrooms.
It's cheap but reflects the state the house is in. It's in a terrible state, the roof has no insulation, not even felt. The garage door was installed in 1965, the date is written in the concrete.
The walls of the kitchen have been artexed by a cowboy and the windows rattle in the wind. Some of them have been painted shut.
On the plus side we are surrounded by corn field and dairy cows. Apart from the odd jet fighter passing overhead there it is peaceful.

Brighton, £320 for a room in a fairly central area. Whoever has that 3-bed flat has done well!

i live in blackpool with my husband and daughter i live in a 4 bedroom house which is £135 a week and i think it is a reasonable price

Courtney's mummy
The rent for our home is £75.50 a week. This is for a 2 bedroom terraced property. The 2 bedrooms are double size, we have a a large lounge/diner and kitchen. Separate Bathroom and toilet. Large front and back gardens.

It is quite a good price where I live. My father in law lives in a 3 bedroom house in a different area and he pays the same rent. But that is because the area is rough

£550.00 per month...nice part of Cheshire (north england) 3 bed semi detached house with garden front and back and private parking...very cheap for this area...usually this place would be upwards of £700.00 per month but we know the landlord.

I don't rent, but work in the industry. Im in Hampshire on the south coast. Rents here are so variable a 3 bed house can be anything from £550 to £12000. Two bed modern flats overlooking the water £625-£1200. I think some properties are very overpriced, but there is a shortage of good accommodation.

CharLottie aka Agony Aunt
I rent a luxury one bed flat, its really nice and in a good area it is £425 a month which is abit much as you can rent a 3 bed house for around the same in other areas.

Brighton (England) - 900 quid a month for a three-bedroom flat. That's pretty competitive for these parts.

Why do you want to know? Are you running a survey? Why don't you enquire of estate agents in the area you would like to live in. You will get a clearer picture that way.
