There is no amount of money that would induce me to move to California. The taxes are too high, the cost of living outrageous, crime is out of control, traffic is a horrendous, the schools suck and the people are rude.

Zandelia
You never said that you had to live in it. Just take it and rent it out

I would be weary of what strings were attached, the condition and location of the property, etc...

Sometimes, things that sound too good to be true actually are.

of course I would move...BUT it would depend on where the house...Where is the house located at? Watts for $ 3000.00 a year?

No, I like where I live.

with the given information..YES!!

maybe I'm bias but I'm saving up to move to California so I would take it.

Do you have family? That could be a huge factor, i'm single so it wouldn't be a burden for anyone but if you have family, kids etc then of course the variables of moving change.

I have been to Cali off on this year and I love it lol!! The bad traffic doesn't bother me and honestly no one has shown nothing but love to me, each and every time I go, people give me love...born and raised in TX and the people aren't half as nice to me here, everyone is aloof and stand offish but I love TX so no I'm not hating on it...just pure observation.

One, Texas for California? No way, you lose every time. Texas is too amazing to trade for any state, especially THAT one.

Two, in the end, its still going to be very expensive because you are going to be paying it off for a VERY long time and the interest will keep the price going up and up.

Personally, no, I wouldn't.
