I think it would be quite difficult for a landlord to rent to a 17 year old. Do you have friends you can stay with until you turn 18? |

You mean you work for an estate agent.
Office junior i think. |

lol an estate agent at 17? lol
If you're an estate agent surely you can pull a few strings to get yourself a decent place. |

I wouldn't go to an Estate Agent where they employed 17 year olds who aren't bright enough to use proper punctuation. (The odd typo is acceptable)
But why not ask your colleagues.
I think at 17 your mum has a legal obligation to look after you. |

If you are working in an estate agents you could easily find the answer to your question . |

i think for know, move in with a few people in a shared house and SAVE your money, then by that time you will be 18 and hopefully have enough money to rent and decorate it. |

If you can pay for it you can rent anything you want. Because of your age, you will need to get references from both bank and employer. You may want to think about house sharing with some others first. |

Well I have to ask this... why were you kicked out? Secondly if you work for an Estate agents you probably have rented accomodation on your books, so all the answers should be available at work.. and possibly give you an advantage in selecting a suitable property. Assuming of course that you are allowed to sign a tenancy agreement at 17... If not rent a bedsit without all the legal stuff for a few months till you are 18 and can do what you like... |

well, it's your own right to decide. where ever you live, you have to keep responsible with everythings. and the most important is keep in touch with your parent. Ok. good luck. |

normally to rent you have to sign a dwellings contract but because your not 18 i dont think it is going to be possible.try talking to citizens advice they may be able to help you with accommodation until your 18.stick with the job as working will help you to get on the rental market.i left home when i was 16 and it is hard.is there any way that you can go back home as life on your own is not all its cracked up to be.if not good luck hope it all turns out fine. |

Smells like a bullshit story to me. I don't think you got kicked out. I think you just want to know how if you can afford to rent a house and not an apartment on a Real Estate Agents salary and I know this because:
1. You aren't 18, but only 17 and you cannot hold a full time job until you are 18.
2. You cannot legally be a Real Estate Agent at age 17 because you are in a contract as a trust-holder, which you legally cannot be entrusted to anything over a specific value until you are over 18, i.e. an adult. |

Your mum kicked you out? Whatever for?
I dont think you could actually call yourself an estate agent at 17, but obviously you are in employment. As a landlord myself, I wouldn't rent to a 17 year old because of the "let's have a party" mentality. Sorry. |

Rent an apartment/studio or guest house from someone that doesn't require anything other than a security deposit. |
