UK, some Housing Associations will house you. Go to the Citizens' Advice Bureau or check them on line. See your local Social Work Department. They are legally obliged to, at least, give you some advice. Check with Benefits Agency what allowances you are due, Council Tax, Housing etc. Your Local Authority will have set aside emercency housing, for the homeless. |

I'd tell you to contact whatever version of "children and family services" your city has but at the rate which bureaucracy moves, who knows what they'll do for you.
You need FUNDS and a job to be able to rent an apartment. If you're homeless, do you have either? If not, that is why you can't rent.
Some will say as you're not 18 you can't sign a contract, but housing is a necessity and so I would not fully buy that argument (minors can contract for necessities) and with you so close to 18 I would think IF you had financial resources someone might do a month-to-month with you for the two months until you're really legal to sign for sure.
I'd still call the authorities and see what they can do to help you out for two months, but don't be surprised if you do 2 months in foster care or an institution.
