Sit down and think of all the things that would make a difference in your choice of an apartment. I have a dog so I had to make sure before asking anything else if the apartment would allow animals. Number one is always how much rent is and what utilities are included/not included. It's always good to find places that include utilities esp. if you know that your electricity bill or heat bill would be high. It's also good to ask what is located around the apartments for your convenience (ie. grocery stores, gas stations, post office, malls). When you find a place you like and decide to take it, always look over the entire place too for damages from the previous renters so that you aren't held liable when you move out for that damage you didn't even do.

I hope this somewhat helped. Good luck! =]

Find a place that is reasonable and if they pay the utilities. When you go to look at an apartment make sure it has the amount of space you are looking for, but not one which will cost you an arm, leg and your first born.

Make sure the landlord spells everything out in black and white. You want to make sure there are no hidden costs should you decide to move out before the lease is up.

If the place is furnished or not. How much furniture will you need to put in it.

When apartments list as furnished it means stove and refrigerator, not bedroom and livingroom furniture.

Well you probbly want an apartment in a pretty secure neighborhood, one that is fairly modern and easy to heat and cool. One with good windows and security features. You probably want a downstairs apartment so you don't have to climb with groceries, unless there is an elevator. If there is a garage, that will be better. One that has guards would be safer too. You probably want one not too far from schools and shopping too.

first you need to establish what and where you want, then with who you want to live and live with. When looking at an apt. notice all details that decrease the value or may be potentially harmful in that place. When it comes to leases, be aware of what you are agreeing to and get reciepts for the security deposit and all rent payments. Be sure to read the lease thouroughly to understand fully what you wil responsible for, and if you plan on sharing the place with somone else don't rely on them for anything, be as independant as possible but ofcourse help eachother. You will need to find some one you can thoroughly trust with your belongings and pets, that will pay their share of the rent on time and have them sign the lease as well.

why are you moving it does not explain your situation ?

Know how much you want to spend for rent.
Do you want to live upstairs or downstairs?
Do you want assigned parking or parking on the streets or is there enough parking?

What is the apartment complex like? Do people use their patio as a garage? Is the apartment across from you Party Central 24/7? Are the managers meth addicts?

Then once you have set you sight one the apartment complex, go thru and make sure everything works in the apartment and that there is no burn marks on the carpet or linoleum.

Good luck!!

When you are apartment hunting, the people you will be living with will be a big thing. Look for any hints that the management will listen to your needs. Bring up concerns and make sure they address them. Is there assigned or ample parking? Is it well lit? Is it kept well-maintained and clean?
Who pays utilities? Most apartments I've lived in include water/garbage in the rent, but not all do. Ask about the safety of the community, and listen to how they respond. Laundry facilities...do they have them in the unit? supply laundromats? if they have laundromats, are they nearby? do there seem to be enough washers and dryers?

Don't sign anything on your first visit. Make sure you ask about any discounts. Make sure you're clear on whatever fees you will be paying. Be sure to visit several apartment complexes. Be picky!

Make sure you know how much you can afford before you go. That will help. Remember that you are the customer, the management should be catering to you. If they don't treat you wonderfully, leave.

Dear asker

Kindly See>> ,

You need firstly to know, which region do you like to move,

the name & area cods !

find them, in sites: ( geographical maps , regions, roads,

travels, etc. )

2)- Then return to Google search , ask for the , [ Apartments,

Rents, in (say!) Calif, USA, ( or any region , in UK,

Canada, hong Kong Etc. )

3)- So, you can study all the pages , and choose your region.

4)- And then, ask for apartments, ( say!), Less than 100 SQM , near down town of your choice,

5)- Then , choose your region Apt s. Less than 100SQM, less than ( Say! )$ 500.00USD Monthly. etc.

So, will received to the Real states,
who have these availabilities.

6)- Take their Phone call & E-mail address,

7)- Send your messages, ask them, and make

appointments, to see the apartments.

If its your first time out of home you have to be aware that it's goign to cost alot. Find share accomodation - that way you share all your bills and often food aswell.

Always ask potential tennents
1) Do you drink / take drugs?
2) How are bills divided?
3) Do their partners stay over / what if yours does?
4) How is cleaning divided?
5) Do they often have parties / can you?

Also - if you find someone that goes away alot this is always a good thing.
