Here's a checklist of what I think should be the minimum:
Kitchen; One each saucepan, frying pan, baking pan. set of plates, bowls, silverware, cups and glasses for at least 2 people. Spatula, slotted spoon, strainer for pasta, pitcher, dish drainer, at least four dish rags/towels. at least one steel wool scrubber, can opener, toaster, broom, mop, a potholder, at least three sharp knives (3 diff. sizes)
Bathroom; shower curtain, floor mat so you don't slip, toilet bowl brush, plunger and 4 towels
Living room; which furniture is your choice. Keep some candles in case of power outage, a lamp, if there's no overhead lighting,
Bedroom; possibly a lamp, 2 sets of sheets, 2 blankets,
for the junk drawer or tool box; duct tape, screwdrivers (1 of each), hammer and nails, wire cutters, twine, wood glue. pliers, super glue and a 5-way or scraper.
If you don't have room for a table and chairs, get TV trays
oh, and don't forget hangers |

Job=money
Food
Cell phone
Paper/pencil to make a list of things you will discover that you need.
Not everyone needs the same things because our needs are all different. I might say furniture and tv, but that might not be as important to you right now. It takes time to build your home , so take your time and get only that which you really need and like. |
