In need of major repairs to my home. I'm a home owner, but i don't have the money for repairs.?

Is there any government programs were i can get a free grant or a loan for these repairs?...

My Take on It	Not unless your house is a historic home that you would be renovating back to its original charm. Even then, there has to be money in the program to lend or grant to you. Otherwise, you would need equity in your home and decent enough credit to get a loan against your house to make repairs. If that isn't an option, then getting a 2nd job and putting all that money towards repairs is an option.
