Is 375 square ft. for commercial space too small? How small are we talking?

That is about the size of a bedroom. This would work for some commercial businesses, as all they really need is a small office.

Waaaaaay too small. That's like the size of....idk maybe two hotel rooms. Maybe even smaller.

Colonel Obvious AM
For a counselling office, no. For retail, yes. What is it you're looking to do in it?

as close to a square as I can without alot of effort

a 20 x 18.75 or approximately a 20 x 20 square

I used to be an Operations Manager for a janitorial company. 375 square feet is VERY small. About the size of a medium sized kitchen, small hallway and a 12X12 bedroom.

In an office it's probably a couple of small offices and a small reception area.

About 5 office cubicles

Think about it. That is less than 20x20. It would make a nice size storage container. Last time I rented a storage space it was 10x15. I was able to park one mdium sized car in it.

The space you described is about the size of a standard 2 car garage. Many people operate businesses out of their garage, look at Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Michael Dell.

Are you going to use it for office space? Do you need to have a restroom onsite? I would. Are you going to be cooking, Does it need a grease trap?

Are you going to be producing any industiral waste that need to be captured and disposed of.

If you use it for storage are there adequate safety considerations like a sprinkler system smoke detectors, etc...

How a bout parking, is it adequet for your task?

Good luck

375 sqft is really small, like half a studio apartment in New your city.

EmeraldIsle
What the hell are you talking about? Too small for what? And what do you mean "How small are we talking?" We AREN'T talking! Are you all right over there? Rhetorical.

kaylasmommyrocks
thats about 1/4 of the size of a small 2 bedroom condo--i lived in a condo thatr was 925 sq feet and it was tiny

What type of business? Can you have off-site storage for materials? Will you have a public restroom or will you have you own within the 375 feet?

In general I would say it is small...

Depend on what the space is for might be big enough for a gas station but not for an office space

That's 25x15. Not very big at all.

starry boy
It's small, but depending on what type of business you're running if would suit your needs. Think about your average trader joe's, they are all about 1000-1200 square feet.
