Depends on the term of the loan and how many points they charged you up front, what your credit, income, and LTV are.
If it's a 30 year fixed rate loan and they didn't charge you more than 1 % of the loan origination or discount or broker fee total then it seems pretty good to me.
That of course is without seeing the rest of the terms of the loan, but it seems fine. |

That all depends upon what type of program you are going with and what you are paying in closing costs or points. The real number you need to look at is your APR. This number better demonstrates the actual cost and quality of the loan. what is your APR and what are the total closing costs? |

no one is a fortune teller but if it were me i would wait it out, if the market keeps heading in the same direction there will be more rate cuts, i predict it will down to 5.5% by next summer. if you cannot wait not even one more day shop around for a few more quotes, i think with excellent credit the rate could be lower |
