Is £65 rent money a week high?
for two parents and a child in one room

just wondering
Additional Details
we have this family and they broke our toilet so my mum had to pay and my asked them to cough up as well but they trying to threaten us

renoir
£65 would be reasonable but it would depend on the location and only because in certain areas it might be a lot higher. If these people are on benefits then housing benefit would cover it but if it is cash in hand they have no complaints because the council or housing associations would charge more than that, also make sure you charge for utilities and any bills seperately because gas and electric prices are going up all the time and you could end up losing money especially for heating in this cold weather.

deepc
No, I don't think so. Seems fair.

J
no! unless you share the room with 2 other people-

ronald.glass@sbcglobal.net
That would be about $100.00 a week or $400.00 a month. For one room, that is a little high.

lowjoy
Well it may be a bit steep for one room, but I pay £73 per week and these flats were built for people on a Pension....they must think we are paid in gold...
