Cross is a good solid middle of the road pen. Mount Blanc is the class of pens but honestly they are more for collecting and for showing off. If you lose pens as often as I manage to, a large pack of BIC ballpoint pens is your best bet lol |

CROSS is a good pen brand. I got one 15 years ago, used it for a year and stopped, and then started using it again two years ago. The ink didn't dry up or bleed and it's still working fine. |

Cross is popular for gifts.
If you actually intend to use the pen, it is less expensive to buy a large number of pens that come in 10-packs or 12-packs at Walmart or the 99-cent store, and throw them away when they are empty, than to buy more expensive pens that you think you can refill, because pens tend to get lost, go in the laundry, etc.... |

Cross makes a great pen for the value. I have mine from 12/1987 - still works - refils (5) times still looks and writes great.
MontBlanc - paid alot more money for it - dropped it ewwww and now it sits in the pen drawer crippled.

Well there are lots of pens out there and many are good. Have you ever considered that pen making is a living art form and many artists have pens for sale that are better then anything you could buy at any pen boutique. I will include several links and I will assume nothing about your cost range so there will be Mid range to High end. You will know best what you are looking for. |
