I am just wanting personal oppinions.. My fiance and I are looking for a house and have had NO luck!! We live in Texas where the hurricane hit so right now houses are hard to find.. I found one today but its only 2 bedroom but its pretty BIG! The rooms are nice sized. But together we have 4 kids. 1 who will live with us full time, 1 who will live with us just on weekends and 2 more that will live with us EVERY other weekend.
So in your oppinion is 2 bedrooms still to small even though its just on the weekends??? thanks in advance!

You are violating health laws with 6 people in a 2 bedroom home. You may also have problems with CPS, as this would be in the least neglect, at the worst sexual abuse.
Legally you need at least a 3 bedroom, but the childrens ages and genders may require 4 or 5 bedrooms. |

You must accomodate 6 people. If you are honest with the landlord I have my doubts whether he will rent to you. I would recommend a three bedroom place. |

how about a foreclosure house that is bigger and inexpensive?
find a buyer's agent and do not let that agent do dual agency--
only allow him -her to show you NON office listings and to

Do you plan to eventually have more than one kid permanently? If you do, then thats definitely too small. But if its going to stay on temporarily that you'll have more than one kid in the house, I think thats definitely adequate. |

i guess it depends on their gender and age. if they are all boys or all girls, you could definitely do it. if they are mixed, i would get a house with 3 bedrooms- one for boys and one for girls. |
