Well...at 100 sqft, that is still a hell of alot larger than you'd be living in on the state, which I believe is 9x6, or 54 sqft.
So...where is the other 546 sqft?
If you're saying that the bedroom is 100 sqft, then that is plenty. Most (full sized) beds are about 7x5 or so that leaves plenty of space for a dresser.

Which room is 10x10? If it's the living room and the dining area is connected it should look nice. In a 10x10 living room you will have enough room for a nice couch (back against a wall), a coffee table, a chair, at least one end table and a TV. The dining area will provide additional space and should be adequate for a small table and at least two chairs. A bedroom that is 10x10 should be satisfactory for up to a queen bed, dresser, nightstand and a TV. With a double bed you will easily have room to include a chest of drawers. It will be snug but you will have room left over. |

Depends on how much stuff you have and how the apartment is set up. My first apartment was about that size and was sufficient for a single grad student. |

I don't think it is too small. Especially if it is all you can afford. I'd rather get something small than put myself into debt with a more spacious area. |
