I would think so. If you are talking 550 a month and not 550 a week.
$20hr is about $41,600 which will net about $28,000 after everything. $550 x 12 is $6,600 per yr. This is about 23% of your income which is very doable. |

20 dollars an hour equals 800 a week for a forty hour week. thats 3200 doollars a month for a four week month. It is only required to make 80 percent of your rent in one week. your rent can be paid in full on 800 weekly salary...even after taxes |

A decent budget plan calls for no more than 25-30 percent of your income to be devoted to primary housing costs like rent or mortgage payments. A forty hour work week would get you 800 per week gross, or a bit more than 3200 per month gross. I would say that 550 rent is just fine if the job is full time. |

Is it possible to rent an apt. for less than $550 per month? What are your options? You will take home about $2000 per month. That leaves you over $1,000 even after utilities and food to pay any other bills. Go for it. |

uh yeah, thats 3200 a month (even then 2000 to 2400 after taxes, etc.) that is assuming you work full time. even at 20 hours per week (1600 a month) that would still be very managable |
