It is an incredible selling point. |

Yes , specially if the realtor has kids or family oriented. |

It is a positive thing as long as the park is well maintained. If it's a scuzzy park where people only go to do bad things, then it's not. Chances are in your case it is a great park. You definitely want to mention this to your realtor. |

A Definite asset to a house sale, so yes do mention it to the Realtor. It is a good selling point. |

It must be because I see lots of real estate listings with "nearby park" or "close to park" and such. Come to think of it, our mid-town park has lots of doctors living next to it! |

Yes, just so it's not a trailer park. |

Overall it depends on how future owners see it.
I can't think of many people who would look down upon being close to a nice park except maybe some crochety old fogey who doesn't like kids, or someone who works and night and might not want to hear the noise from kids playing, etc.
All things are subjective and what matters most is finding the right buyer to see the value in your property to pay the money you want for it! |

Yes. It's walking distance to something entertaining. |

It's all how you put a spin to it, so definitely mention it to the realtor. It would be a plus for families with kids or interested in sports, but it would certainly be a minus for those looking for peace on weekends of those that simply want plenty of parking available around their home. Since you have experience living there, try to think of good points for both POV's, help the realtor with real details. |

This would be a great place for a family home, and the realtor would love to hear something like that, it's a very good selling point, especially for young families.
Good luck! |

Yes, I would think so. When my lease is up at the end of January in this apartment, I'll be looking for a house. If I could find one near a park, I would love it. Good Luck & Blessings |

It's nice, but PRICE and ONLY PRICE sells a house. I don't care where you house is, if it's not priced to beat the market IT WILL NOT SELL.
Fact. |

yes if the people wanting to buy it had kids especially. even if they dont, say it anyway, it makes it sound like a cool place, though they may think the kids and other people might get loud and obnauctios. |

This is good to mention to a Realtor, of course, because a lot of people go to the park to have fun or even to walk their dog, or exercise... I suggest that you can sell your house very easily than staying far away from the park. Mention to the Realtor if (s)he is a easy going person, but don't mention it if he's hard and has a strict face... |

You can decide on your own if it is right to mention whether or not you have a park across the street.
If the people who want to purchase the house have lots of kids, and are normally happy and gleeful you can mention that.
But if they are strict or do not have kids I wouldn't.
Their attitude decides on its own. |
