If it states in your contract that you will keep yard neat and trimmed, and don't, they probably can. |

Sounds like the grass got too high. Check out the contract you signed when you moved in. Talk to the landlord about working out the $40 or you could be taken to court. |

If it is not in your contract - then you have a right to discuss this new cost added to your residence. |

You need to read your trailer park contract. If they have provisions that they contract someone to cut the lawns then you have to tell them you'll be doing it yourself and get that part removed.
Otherwise, is it an employee of the park, or some independent guy not secured by the park? You should find that out.
If you did not ask them to do it, you do not owe them a thing, unless it is part of your contract with the trailer park. It's like receiving unsolicited mail. You don't have to return it and you do not have to pay for it.
But I would go speak with the management, they may be within their rights, depends on how tall your grass was before it was cut. They have regulations to keep, too. |

If it is part of your rental agreement then no if not then yes and they need to uphold their reputation and keep a presentable environment so maybe you should keep it maintained and avoid another situation like this.
All the best. |

It depends on your lease agreement, or the homeowners association bylaws that govern where you live. Read your lease carefully to see what it says about this. But the simple answer is no, they don't have to notify you if it's already written in your lease or the HOA bylaws. |

Assumably your lease requires you to maintain the lawn on the lot which you rent. If you do not conform with proper maintenance of the lawn, expect the park management to perform what you did not perform, and then charge you accordingly.
Read your lease carefully. I venture you will find language contained within which covers this situation. |

I wouldn't pay it . Did you sign anything stating your lawn would not exceed a certain height ? |

Check your lease or pad rental papers. That should let you know for sure.
I do think that they should at least give you a warning before they just go and do it. |

it should be included.. he can't charge you extra if he didn't tell you about it...

Yes, he should notify you about that. He probably did not because he wanted the extra money. Greedy retard. |
