Call your landlord and tell him/her that the noise is too loud and intolerable. If it persists, send your landlord a certified letter. If that still doesn't work, talk to other neighbors about signing a petition and deliver it to the landlord.
In my experience, talking directly to the neighbor only makes things worse. He's not stupid - he knows his guitar is loud and he likes it. |

lol i say get a guitar and play it as loud as you can but horrible so he get sthe peeves lol..
nah you should be able to pull appar your wal and put soundproof stuff in it, thats what we did in our house casue my brother has his screechy music up in his room that no-one else needs to hear..
if you talk to him and arrange some sort of time wheere your not there and he can lpay whenever that should be good..

Three options that I would do in this order.
1) Speak with he or she directly.
2) Report he or she to the landlord or owner.
3) Call the police.

talk to your manager...if they do not take care of it...then contact your local police...they will talk to him.
the police will come and ask him to quiet down -before 10pm- if the noise is excessive.

It doesn't matter where you live any noise is very annoying and I can sympathise with you. Have you spoken to him and asked him nicely to turn it down, if you have and it's still going on, write a letter to your management explaining the situation, put the date and time, because now days you need evidence of everything, maybe you could record the noise from inside your apartment so the management will know how bad it is, write doen what the management said to you and record the time and date, incase he denies he said any of it you will have evidence that he did say taht, if he says he will do something for you, try if you can get hom to put in into writing saying he will do something about it. Good luck and hope his guitar breaks.Haha, that sounds mean but hay........ |

well i live in sanfrancisco ca and i live in a apartment and they always play from 8pm to like 12pm i beleive whenever they play to loud or to much i tell my landlord and he tells em eventually eviction im not on a college campus tho and i dont think they can do that i mean gotta sleep to learn and arent college living complexes huge?someone else will back you up so go tell the whoever u pay alot to live in a little dorm to get them to stop |

if he doesnt comply to practice outside, in a lower volume, or during times when it doesnt bbother...
talk to your landlord
need proof?
record it with a video camera when ever it happens while youre home.
then show it to your landlord.
if all else fails...

I used to play mandolin music really loud everytime I left my apartment. My neighbors eventually stopped playing their music so loud. But, if he's not next door to you, really the only thing you can do is talk to him or to your apartment complex. maybe work out a time when he can play that won't bother you. If he's reasonable. |
