It takes another 30 days to get you out of there, and the eviction and judgement (you still owe the rent) will be attached to your credit report to warn other landlords and employers of your ethics. |

You have the right to be evicted through the courts. You do not have months, you have weeks at the most.
You have 3 days to pay or move out before the eviction action begins.
If you want to avoid an eviction and save your credit history, I'd highly suggest either paying or vacating within the 3 days.
Non-payment cases are fairly straight forward and move quickly. You may have a month before being set out by the sheriff.
If you are evicted, your rental history will be shot. You will have a judgment against you for the rent owed and it will ruin your credit. Good luck finding a rental in the future.
You'll be coming here crying about having no place to live and asking why you can't find an apartment in the near future. |

Why do you want to live there for free? Was it the land lord that kicked you out? Decisions have consequences and you can stay and go to court, and have the judge tell you a date to be out, but you will owe. You said you don't want to pay! why ruin your credit and good name. |

I HIGHLY recommend you vacate within the 3 days given and return all keys, etc. that were given to you when you moved in to the manager/owner.
An eviction/unlawful detainer is by far the worst thing you can have as a future renter.
Landlord's/apartments won't touch that in most cases. |

It depends on your state and how savvy your landlord is.
Honestly, I would call your landlord and tell him/her you'll be out by a certain date and you won't be damaging the property or asking for your security deposit back. In return ask them not to file a FE&D (Forciable Entre and Detainer) against you. If they do that it become public record and tenant screeening services will pick it up and you'll be blacklisted FOREVER.
I'm serious, I own more than 30 houses and 5 quadplexs. I never, ever rent to someone that's been taken to court for that.
In court the judges hear cases like this all the time. I know my judges in the precients where I own properties. I always win my cases and I sue the tenants for damages up to the max ($5000.00). Now do I ever see that money...no...but it sure helps as a write-off and stays on the tenants record.
Don't try to get over like that. You'll need a place to stay. |

Consult an attorney. Each state is different. |

You can be there until a judge kicks you out. I say 2 months tops.
Meaning the rest of this month and next month if your lucky. |
