Hello, Recently, my landlord placed a sticker on the driver side window of my car in the parking lot the apartment building I live at. The sticker was in reference to a parking violation as my car was supposed to be parked in the rear of the building at the time thus the notice was justified, however, upon removal of the sticker, the entire outline of the sticker had left a glue residue all over my window. To properly clean the residue off of my car, I had to pay to have the car washed. Furthermore, in actually removing the sticker, my window suffered two or three scratches in the glass. Using these stickers is a new warning system they are using thus I believe they may be unaware of the damage the stickers they were using would cause. My question is whether my landlord would be liable to reimburse me for the cost of removing the sticker and subsequent residue. I suppose I can live with the scratches thus I may not make a big deal about that. Thanks!
