It's not right. First, talk calmly with your landlord. (you live in his house and dont want to anger him). If he's a jerk about it then i would contact the water co and have them come shut off the water to the sprinklers and speak to a lawyer just in case anything nasty happens. |

I would contact the landlord and tenant bureau.
This would be okay if he was paying the bill but he is not.
If he wants to do this have him change the bill into his name, and you pay him a set amount as according to your bills before he installed the sprinkler system.
If he won't agree I think I would look for new accomodations. |

I gather you are renting a house, right. Putting the sprinkle system benefits you in the long run.
your lawn will remain green and add beauty to the house. but you can circumvent these unncessary expenses by regulating the sprinkler. let it go on after 7p and only every other day depending on the weather. You should have control of the sprinkler. If he insists, then tell him to install another meter so he can shoulder water and electrical bill esp for
around the house. |

Read your lease. Does it allow the landlord to do that?? It not, let him know that you are not paying for it. If he treats you like shi*, take him to small claims court. |
