One of you put your studies on hold, until the others finished
Spend all your free time working
Get a lodger
Sell the house |

rent your property out, live at the university for a year etc, when you make new friends together then rent a house with others to share the cost. if you rent out your house, change to interest only mortgage with current lender. the rent should cover the mortgage - keep rental income in separate account and mortgage payments by dd from the rent account. Don't touch it or dip into it, that's not part of your new student life etc. If excess money after mortgage installment paid leave it to accumulate in case need any repairs to property etc and put that side of your life to one side. then you live a student life as if you haven't got a property and mortgage like most of the students etc - use student loans, grants and odd jobs to get you through your degree and living expenses. |

Is the house big enough that you could rent out a couple of the bedrooms? You'll both need part-time jobs to. It wouldn't really pay to rent the whole house and live on campus, that cost money to and you'll still have all the expenses of upkeep on the house. You might try selling the house, but in today's market that won't be easy. Good Luck |

Hi Welsh Wizard,
I'm afraid that the bank still want your money even though you have went to uni. Here is the plan of action:
1. Knock your mortgage down to interest only for the time you are at uni.
2. Claim every benefit you are entitled to .
3. Take in a lodger.
4. Do part time work (tutoring).
5. Cut back. |

Do Open University and carry on working! or get lodgers, get on the Uni register for student accom (ie for renting out a room) sell it and start again, when you've graduated! |

Ask your local council if you can get help with your morgage, i think its called housing benefit. It will pay a percentage of your morgage becasue your a full time student. I don't know how much it will pay but there's no harm in asking. you could also rent out any spare rooms! |
