I'd say he's right...how much stuff could you possibly have living in an apartment...Id say save the money and do it yourself. Otherwise its wasting money and you'll never get that ring you want! |

Start moving now so you don't have to do it all at once. If the apartment is not ready then rent the truck for a few extra days and at least start loading it today.
Get new friends :) |

Hiring movers is so worth it! I don't know why he's being that cheap he's going to kill himself and also you don't have time. Get packing you are behind hand on that one. Liquor stores have the best boxes even though you look like a lush moving in. Don't know why you can't help it's not that much to moving a box in one by one to a car and then back out. You do have both places at the same time? That's the only way to move! |

Since it is very close to where you are moving, I suggest that you do small moving (small boxes) everyday to a new place.
If not then you'll have to manage to help him as much as you can.
You guys could invite only one guy to help him out and buy the guy lunch or dinner with beer after moving. It's really not that much to compare all the energy and stress of moving. |

This isn't really an answer just an observation but you really know who your friends are when it's time to move. |

if you want to be a help, try to help organize things. Move smaller items when your bf is not around, but don't make a mess of things and piss him off by making things harder, go over to the apartment make sure it is clean and figure out how things will be put away this is where you will do more than him so it will even out. |

Pack the toilet paper last!
Ask your neighbors for a little help, and just say you'll pay them when you get back...and don't go back >.>
I dunno, do you have money for movies? for atleast big things, like furniture... I really dunno what to say, if you can't ask friends or hire movies, I'm sorry! Please don't hate me! |

Unless your boyfriend wants to end up with a hernia ask him to hire someone (or do it yourself) Go to your local Home Depota nd you will see day laborers, ask for two or one, rates should be between 60 to 100 per day, pay the day, buy him a sandwich and save yourself the headache. |

Ask a couple of high school kid to help and pay them $100.00 each , or your cheep skate boy friend will have a wonderful time doing it him self. |

Find some kids/teenagers to help. They will usually help for very little money and throw in a couple of free pizza's for them. You could probably get away with paying them as little as $20 each. During our last move I paid our neighborhood boys $10 each and they were more help than you could ever imagine, especially for being 13. |
